The award-winning show, currently playing at the Playhouse Theatre, will close with Douglas Hodge playing Albin. He opened with the original production at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2007, before it transferred into the West End. He will be joined by Denis Lawson, who reprises his role as Georges.The show has enjoyed much success in its run, winning two Olivier Awards and two Whatsonstage.com Awards. The role of Albin has been played by presenter Graham Norton, Roger Allam and presently John Barrowman (pictured).
Terry Johnson's revival was expected to tour the UK but was cancelled last month due to producers not being able to secure suitable star artists.
