The Drama Student has launched as the only magazine dedicated to drama students across the UK. Published quarterly, the first issue launched in January 2009, with further issues in the spring, summer and autumn. The magazine brings together an exciting community of current and prospective students actively pursuing a career in theatre, film, television or radio, either as an actor or behind the scenes. The Drama Student is their essential reference, a publication with enthusiasm and substance.
Embarking on a career in the industry as an actor or backstage is an exciting part of a young person’s life, and with some of the world’s finest drama schools here in the UK, there is no better way to achieving a solid grounding than to train at one of them. Each year over fifteen thousand people apply to these schools and The Drama Student Magazine aims to be at the forefront of their passion, delivering a publication that is accessible and one the community will identify with.
